Ar. Monica Khosla Bhargava

Monica Khosla Bhargava is an Architect, Urban Designer and an International Floral Artist.

She founded her design practice, Kham Consultants in 1992 and has been felicitated with several awards, both national and international.

She represented India at the GRRIPP Conference 2021 hosted by University College London and at the Ministerial Conference at the 3rd World Water Forum Japan 2003 which prepared the Kyoto Declaration on Water. As President of SPARK, she initiated the highly popular Park Street Christmas Festival to steer an urban revival of Kolkata’s fine dining hub.

Monica is also visiting faculty at IIM Calcutta and INIFD Jaipur.

Ar. Ayan Sen

Ayan Sen is a graduate of School of Architecture, CEPT, India and has done his Masters in Urban Design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. He provides specialized expertise in the areas of master planning for waterfronts and campuses including residential and mixed-use projects and professionally been involved in several architectural projects in India that include resorts, institutions, commercial and health care and residential projects.

ASAUDP was started in India with the thought of providing collaborative, creative and International professional systems in the growing architectural environs of emerging India. The premise: ‘Locally Sensitive Regional thinking can get integrated with the best of International Practices and Systems’ has been the founding pillar of its young, vibrant team. The philosophies and design ideologies have tried to invoke the regional vernacular and its expression in the modern contemporary idiom and integrate the two in a holistic manner.

Ayan has principally articulated himself in two languages – one of a contemporized colonial design which is inspired by both India’s colonial past and her current awareness of her place in the world. The second language explores contemporary tropical expressions in an amalgamation with the local context, be it Calcutta or any other Indian metropolis. His academic and professional research interest is in the understanding of developments through Public-Private Partnerships and interweaving of design and strategic process of development.

He is involved in various academics and studies in KRVIA (Mumbai), IIT Kharagpur and CEPT (Ahmedabad). ASAUDP is also involved in research with MIT, USA.

Ar. Jui Mallik

Jui Mallik graduated from Jadavpur University and is working as “Partner” of Abin Design Studio.

With an experience of 25 years in domestic and international projects, she is mostly into quality control, project co-ordination, planning and overall project implementation apart from controlling the studio operations. She leads the design development and production team of ADS and controls the overall operations of the studio. Working experience includes mixed-use developments, educational institutes, commercial headquarters, residential complexes, and civic buildings.

She is instrumental in guiding the total project progress the firm is involved majorly – from inception, understanding the Client’s requirement, design development till execution of the same at site as per the design intent. She has a vast exposure of working in various project types of varying scale for which Abin Design Studio has earned numerous accolades both nationally and internationally.

Ar Alex Joseph

Ar. Alex Joseph is an Architect & Interior Designer with more than 15 years of professional experience in the industry. He is the principal architect and founding partner of the architecture design studio Myspace Architects based in Noida, Delhi NCR. The award-winning design studio is having two main verticals of Architecture & Interior Design Consultancy Services focused on delivering functional and affordable results. Over the past years, he has won many national and international awards and recognition for some of his remarkable projects. His works have been published in the major national and international magazines like Arch daily, Dezeen, Journal of Indian Institute of Architects, Architects and Interiors India etc.

Ar. Amit Singhal

Amit Singhal has been associated with GPM Architects & Planners since 1999. His passion towards architecture has resulted in the overall growth of the company, especially in the commercial and retail design sector. In addition to the daily responsibilities of the firm’s operations, he plays an integral role in business development. As the Director of GPM Architects and Planners, he is the pioneering head of the commercial and recreational design teams, who have several successfully functioning projects to their merit. His innovative outlook and client-focused approach has enabled the firm to establish a reputed continual clientele. He has a keen eye towards details and constantly explores efficient use of new materials in the projects. Under his guidance and leadership, the team has successfully completed more than 50 projects and conceptualised large-scale landmark projects.

Ar Deepa S Wani

Deepa graduated from Dayanand Sagar College of Architecture, Bangalore; post which she quickly advanced from a student architect to now leading a team of her own! From being a complete tom-boy she has transformed into a delightful personality handling variety of projects spanning from residential to hospitality

She always believes that every space has to be designed distinctively and leads her army of architects with an energy that goes unparalleled. As a very hard-working individual along with a flair for aesthetics, Dee, as she is fondly called by her colleagues doubles up as an in-house DJ.

“Love for nature, biophilic designs with a vision for the future” is what drives Deepa in her eternal search for innovative designs.

A cup of hot water and a glimpse of her musical skills while designing is what makes her a star in the galaxy of Mistrys! If not found in the firm, you could catch her doing a trek over the weekends or sporting an adventure event making her all the more creative at work.
